Thick Belladonna Extract – 10 mg,
Sodium Bicarbonate – 300 mg.
- functional gastrointestinal disorders (abdominal pain of functional origin);
- spasms of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract organs;
- spasms of the bile ducts.
tablets, 10 tablets per blister, 2 blisters per pack.
Pharmacological Properties
Becarbon is a combined medication that exhibits analgesic and antispasmodic effects and neutralizes free hydrochloric acid in gastric juice, thereby providing a protective effect on the gastric mucosa.
Special Warnings and Precautions for Use
Consult a doctor before starting treatment with Becarbon.
In cases of persistent or worsening abdominal pain of unknown origin, accompanied by symptoms such as fever, nausea, vomiting, changes in bowel movements, decreased blood pressure, fainting, or the presence of blood in the stool, medical consultation is required.
Do not exceed the recommended doses. Use the smallest effective amount necessary.
Dosage and Administration
For adults: Take 1 tablet orally 2-3 times a day, 30-40 minutes before meals. Swallow the tablet whole with sufficient water, without chewing.
The maximum single dose is 5 tablets.
Becarbon is intended for short-term symptomatic use, so the duration of treatment should be individualized.
If symptoms persist for 3-5 days, consult a doctor for reassessment of the treatment plan and further use of the medication.
Pediatric Use
There is no clinical data on the efficacy and safety of Becarbon in children, so it should not be used in this population.
